Dr. Jennifer Mabe

Dr. Mabe has loved animals of all types since she was a child and spent many weekends with her grandparents on their farm in Centerville, Tx. As her love for animals(especially for dogs and cats) grew, so did her love for science and veterinary medicine. She attended Baylor University and received a degree in Spanish and then attended the University of Houston-Clear Lake for a degree in Biology. She is fluent in Spanish and taught bilingual second grade before becoming a veterinarian. She attended Texas A&M university (Whoop!) and received her DVM in 2002. She has been working as a small animal veterinarian ever since.

Dr. Mabe enjoys internal medicine(figuring out what’s wrong with animals, especially senior pets), performing ultrasounds, and taking the time to talk to owners about all their pet questions and concerns. She likes to get to know her clients and their pets and treats all her patients like they are her own pets. Dr. Mabe and her family have lived in, and loved Friendswood for 17 years. She has two children, one new grandson, and two spoiled long-haired dachshund children.

In her free time, Dr. Mabe likes to spend time with family, volunteer in church ministries at Mary Queen, attend community activities like Concert in the Park and holiday parades, read, and travel to beach destinations.
